JASPER, ALBERTA (CANADA) – The remains of Jasper, Alberta’s Pocahontas Coal Mine is found not too far from Highway 16 on Miette Road. A self-guided interpretive trail leads through the mine remnants as well as to some spectacular viewpoints that overlook the ponds at Pocahontas.
