JASPER, ALBERTA (CANADA) – Maligne Lake is a beautiful lake that is the second-largest glacier-fed in the world. It is located in Alberta’s Maligne Valley, stretching 22 kilometers (14 miles). A 90-minutes boat cruise takes passengers past spectacular glacier-studded mountain peaks to world-famous Spirit Island during the summer months.
While in this part of the Jasper region, feel free to try your hand at guided fishing, hiking or horseback riding. Or, during the winter, there are excellent opportunities for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
