JASPER, ALBERTA (CANADA) – The Chaba Theater in Jasper, Alberta was built for $5,000. And for the families that lived in this region of Canada during the 1920s, it was worth every penny – and still is cherished as a community landmark. Talent shows, stage performances and free movies used to light up the stage that was also used for Christmas visits from Santa, who would delight the little ones with candies and stories.
