Kinney Lake on the first part of the Berg Lake Trail.
|
Mount Robson’s peak is the highest point of the Canadian Rockies. It also is on the border between Jasper National Park and British Columbia’s Mount Robson Provincial Park.
At its base, less than one hour’s drive from the town of Jasper, lies Mount Robson Mountain River Lodge.
This bed and breakfast style bungalow/cabin operation is a quiet alternative to the larger centres of the parks. The main building, seen above, holds four rooms, each suitable for two people.
There are also two smaller cabins each suitable for larger groups in which breakfasts are offered as an option.
The trailhead to the world-famous Berg Lake Trail is minutes away. (A shorter, less strenuous trail to the lovely Kinney Lake begins from the same point.)
