Raft the Athabasca
Raft the Atha-B with Jasper Raft Tours for just $10 per person! Call 852-2665 for bookings; ask for Scott Eady (thanks, Scott) or identify yourself as part of Reunion ’06. Book individually or gather some friends together and fill your own raft. Sunday only, please.
Come fly with us
Ride the Jasper Tramway for the half price local’s rate of just $11.50! Tram hours on the long weekend are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; go early or later in the day to avoid the crush. Or put together your own group, and book at tram time in advance. Call 852-3093 for bookings and details. For the locals rate, just show your Reunion ’06 ID at the box office. Available Saturday, Sunday and Monday. If you see Alex Rayner, say thanks.
Take a hop down to Spirit Island
Take a boat cruise down to Spirit Island on Sunday. Departure is at 1:30 sharp! The goal is to fill a boat just with Reunion ’06 members, so book as soon as you can and help us keep our numbers straight. Pat Crowley has given us a special rate of just $25. Old Maligne Tours staff are welcome to grab the mike and do a little nostalgia spiel. For bookings, email Verne at vbalding@town.jasper.ab.ca. He’ll consolidate the list and pass it along.
Join the Lunch Bunch
Going somewhere for the day, and need a great lunch to pack along with you? Give Glen Leitch at the Patricia Street Deli (852-4814, right beside the TD Bank on Patricia Street) and book as many lunches as you need: Glens’ famous chicken sandwich, chips, fruit, desert, a nappie, and a beverage for $13.95.

Search for the Angel Glacier on Sunday
Paula Beauchamp, through her "Walks and Talks Jasper" company, is offering her “Path of the Glacier Walk”. This guided walk to the foot of Angel Glacier on Mount Edith Cavell is both easy and, to those who have not seen Edith Cavell in a while, rather surprising; the Angel is shrinking. Paula has given us the special rate of $15.00/head which includes transportation. Plan on the trip taking 3 1/2 hours, return.
You will meet Paula and the other participants at Edge Control’s new location on Connaught (beside the Brew Pub, a cross from the steam locomotive and the new parking lot) at 10 AM Sunday.
